Dave Broom also tells us an extraordinary story: that of MacKinlay Shackelton, or how Richard Paterson managed to reproduce the famous whisky trapped in the Antarctic ice for almost a century. The Midleton distillery and Irish single pot stills are also featured in this summer issue. Whisky Magazine & Fine Spirits is also taking the opportunity to go Spanish: we're heading to Barcelona for an epicurean getaway in the company of Albert Adria (the brother of...), where gin is king.
