Dave Broom also tells us an extraordinary story: that of MacKinlay Shackelton, or how Richard Paterson managed to reproduce the famous whisky trapped in the Antarctic ice for almost a century. The Midleton distillery and Irish single pot stills are also featured in this summer issue.
