TENNESSEE BOURBON 8 ans Whiskey Sponge Special Edition Decadent Drinks

This bottling is a single cask of George Dickel's unclaimed Bourbon Tennessee Sour Mash, distilled in 2016. This 8-year-old Bourbon spent 3 years maturing in Tennessee, then 5 years in Scotland. It was aged entirely in a new American oak cask and was made from a blend of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley.
The alcohol content has been reduced to 57.1%, offering a rich, comforting balance of strong spices, waxed wood notes and hints of citrus.
Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other spirits. Angus MacRaild - also author of the WhiskySponge blog - is the founder. Its philosophy is quality, fun and not taking life too seriously. This quirky side is reflected both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings, which feature the sponge character in a wide variety of ways.
These bottlings, mostly single casks, are divided into different brands such as the Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice, Equilibrium and NAS. The Spongeverse includes WhiskySponge, RumSponge, CognacSponge, ArmagnacSponge and WineSponge.
