GLENFIDDICH 50 ans Re-Imagination of Time Simoultaneous Time

HISTORY
Thanks to the intelligent management of cask stocks by William Grant & Sons, Glenfiddich is one of the few distilleries that can bottle a 50 year old version. Glenfiddich 50 Year Old is made in the traditional way, with the same methods used in 1887 when the Glenfiddich distillery first opened.
Making a whisky of this age requires sensitivity and precision in finding the casks that will achieve the 50 years of maturation.
When the casks were brought into our cellars, we didn't know which ones would make it to 50 years, so the alcohol content, volume and quality of the casks were constantly assessed to see which ones would be suitable for further ageing.
Over the years, thousands of casks were constantly evaluated, but only 3 of them managed to meet the rigorous conditions to reach 50 years of ageing.
CONCEPT
"50 years lived not chronologically but simultaneously, a total of 18,263 days of maturation and 18,263 days of enhancement by time.
MATURATION
Aged for 50 years in second-fill American white oak barrels (ex-bourbon barrel).
