GLENFIDDICH 31 ans Grand Château

The 6th edition of the Glenfiddich Grand Series, this limited edition is an unexpected marriage of two worlds, each with its own renowned expertise and reputation. Brian Kinsman, our cellar master, wanted to capture in this cuvée the moment when the French terroir, which he is particularly fond of, meets and sublimates the Scottish terroir. The result is an exceptional whisky, with the highest age count in the Grand Series collection, imbued with excellence and humility. This 31-year-old matured in rare Bordeaux casks is remarkably fine.
First, this whisky is aged in ex-Bourbon for 22 years and then is then extra-matured for 9 years in rare Bordeaux wine casks.
For this Grand Château limited edition, Brian Kinsman wanted to bottle at 47.6%, the highest degree in the Grand Series collection. Rumor has it that this is Brian's favorite number.
To celebrate this new limited edition, Maison Glenfiddich unveils an artistic collaboration with French artist André Saraiva. This association comes to life inside the box, where we can discover a colorful universe where André has fused Scottish landscapes with French wine terroir.
