DISTILLERIE CAZOTTES 2021 Tomates

To make this ancient liqueur, which we will now call a spirit drink, we grow 168 different varieties of tomatoes in our vegetable garden. . . Between our plum trees and our production of aromatic plants, tomato plants are sown and transplanted each year. 208 varieties (in 2022), including Golden Jubilee, Noire de Crimee, Rose de Berne, Merveilles des Marchés, Cornue des Andes... and many others, make up our spirit. When the harvest period arrives, we take pleasure in taking our basket to pick up our ripe tomatoes every day. These last sips of sunshine will then be sorted and then cut into quarters manually. They are then macerated with our homemade organic brandy. After which, we let time do its work...You can now enjoy it as an aperitif, accompanied by some antipastis (smoked fish, parmesan, tapenade, anchoïade...)
