A revolution has shaken up the whisky category in 2020: Waterford Distillery!
Led by the renowned Mark Reynier, the project has put the emphasis back on barley, at the heart of a single malt's final aroma, thanks to an ambitious triptych of Terroir, Traceability and Transparency.

Inspired by the greatest winemakers and thanks to the formidable richness of the Irish terroir, coupled with elite, avant-garde production methods, the distillery has created a sensation with a Single Farm Origin range acclaimed by critics and connoisseurs alike.
The expression of the complexity of a single terroir, a single farm, a single harvest... One place, one farm, at a time!

This year, Mark Reynier and his team return with a series of 3 new Single Farms, as accomplished, precise and complex as ever.

This edition was distilled from barley grown and harvested in 2015 by Martin Foley on Hook Head in the far south of County Wexford, known for its lighthouse and changeable climate.
Strongly marked by the clay and loam soil, but also by salt storms, sea fog and ocean breezes, this expression reveals beautiful spicy (nutmeg, white pepper...) and mineral notes that perfectly complement its malty, gourmet character.
