To mark Douglas Laing's 75th anniversary, the independent bottler is paying tribute to its blending heritage with a rare edition of King Scots aged for over 50 years.
Douglas Laing has long been renowned for its mastery of blending, a passion that has been passed down through three generations and is deeply embedded in the King of Scots Blended Scotch Whisky brand. Founded in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing, the first brand in the company's portfolio was King of Scots. Purchased after the war, this brand, accompanied by just three casks of whisky, was the foundation of what would become Douglas Laing & Co. as we know them today.
To celebrate the company's 75th anniversary, this rich, refined and extremely rare recipe champions the art of blending, created from an extremely special selection of Douglas Laing's oldest and finest casks, to unveil the pinnacle of premium Scotch whisky.
With a rare Blended Whisky of this age, you can expect the sweetness of orchard fruits mixed with creamy, honeyed notes.
