STRATHEARN Single Malt Scotch Whisky Douglas Laing

Founded in 2013 and acquired by independent bottler Douglas Laing in 2019, Strathearn is an artisan distillery, located in Highland Perthshire, a region with a rich distilling heritage.
Strathearn is the only distillery to use only Maris Otter Extra Pale malted barley. The malted barley is then added to local Highland water in one of the country's few hand-operated brewing tuns, before being fermented for 144 hours.
This first bottling under the Douglas Laing era is a blend of ex-Bourbon, Sherry and new wood casks. Unchill-filtered and colorant-free, this single malt is as natural as it gets.
