Built on the magnificent Rademon estate by David and Fiona Boyd-Armstrong, Shortcross is a true labour of love. Their passion for quality spirits, Irish tradition and, of course, the estate itself shines through in everything they do. All the energy for the distillery comes from the estate's own solar and hydro power.

This Irish Pot Still bursts from the glass with an incredible palette of fruit. Notes of dried pineapple and mango, grapefruit and lemon oil delight the senses. On the palate, there is a masterful balance between the wood and the fruit of distillation. The powerful vanilla aroma, fuelled by the oak, blends perfectly with the honeyed tropicality of the eau-de-vie. Clove and cinnamon roll off the finish.

The Collective's first series, The Pioneers, focuses on the pioneers of sustainable, eco-responsible distillation. A selection of ten bottlings, ranging from Irish single pot stills to Tasmanian single rye, The Pioneers series is a real tribute to distillers who care about the future of the planet.
