The Master Blender has selected optimally matured whiskies from various Islay distilleries to create this 'Island Blended Malt', which expresses the typical aromas of its terroir: iodine, salt and smoke. This whisky was first aged in old Bourbon casks before being blended for a second ageing in our own casks (made of toasted European new oak), which offer more smoky spice and depth.
