LONGMORN 1994 Aged 30 Years ARTIST #14 Rothes Glen

Founded in 1893 by John Duff & Company, the Longmorn distillery began production in December 1894. Between 1972 and 1974, it doubled its production capacity, increasing the number of stills from four to eight. The highly regarded single malt produced here is almost exclusively reserved for the oldest editions of the famous Chivas blend. Radiant with maturity and at the same time remarkably fresh, this version evokes the beauty of the rolling landscapes of the Spey Valley. From heady, honeyed aromas to exotic, nobly spiced flavours, its aromatic and taste palette acquires, over time, an autumnal patina that poetically evokes the world of precious woods.
