Burgundian still - old tunnel - wild valley. This is the first batch to be distilled and matured by the LACHANENCHE Distillery in the heart of the Ubaye Valley. This additive-free organic single malt is made from French barley brewed in France. LACHANENCHE uses a double distillation process in its Burgundy still and matures it in French white wine oak barrels. This ageing takes place at the gateway to the magnificent and enigmatic LAVERQ valley, in a former railway tunnel where a slow and unique maturation process takes place.
