Taking its name from the largest freshwater lake on Islay, located not far from the distillery, with its dark peat-coloured waters and abundant wildlife, Loch Gorm combines Kilchoman's expressive 50 ppm peat and characteristic citrus notes with the woody, fruity and gourmet influence of sherry.
For the 2024 edition, 23 Oloroso sherry casks from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin have been carefully selected by Anthony Wills, founder of the distillery. These include 17 first-fill casks and 6 second-fill casks all distilled in 2014. The result is a masterfully balanced, richly fruity and peaty blend that is as pleasing as ever, and as essential as ever !

Palate : Delicate peat smoke combined with honey roasted nuts, cinnamon, and malted barley.
