Through forty seasonal cycles and the care of three generations of master blenders, the whiskies have drawn their intense character from the oak casks of Mizunara, Spain and America. The skill of Master Blender, Shinji Fukuyo, has transformed these rich whiskies into a blend of exquisite subtlety. The spirit of omotenashi and the serenity of Japanese temples are expressed in this delicate composition, where everything is in perfect balance.
Kagami Crystal, the famous glassmaker and supplier to the Japanese imperial family, has created a 30-faceted bottle decorated with traditional Japanese maki-e, mother-of-pearl inlays and gold lacquer. The immaculate crystal glass and faceted design offer an enchanting view of the golden liquid it contains.

This refined attention to detail extends to the outer box, which is made from 12 varieties of Japanese wood and has 12 sides. On the outside, the box is beautifully adorned with delicate flowers and herbs that bring the changing seasons of Japan to life with maki-e lacquer.
