GLENROTHES 26 ans 1997 1st fill Sherry Butt Signatory Vintage

This Glenrothes, distilled in 1997, was aged for 26 years in first-fill Sherry casks before being bottled at its natural strength of 52.40%. This Speyside single malt has a patisserie and spicy profile with aromas of orange, apple and prunes.

First distilled in 1879, The Glenrothes is prized by the whisky industry for the quality of its single malt. This recognition is due to the very slow distillation process, which produces a particularly smooth and fruity distillate.

Signatory Vintage is unveiling a new series, 'Symington's Choice', which showcases the most exceptional casks from the Pitlochry cellars. This series is an opportunity for Andrew Symintgons to reaffirm the mastery of selection, maturation and richness of Pitlochry casks.
