This Glenburgie distilled in 2010 has aged 14 in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at its natural strength of 52.70%. This Speyside single malt offers a fine and velvety profile with aromas of figs, nuts and chocolate.

Founded in 1829 (1810 according to some sources) the Glenburgie distillery has always been associated with the Ballantine’s blend and the Allied Domecq company. Glenburgie has the particularity of having housed, from 1958, two Lomond-type stills, very little used in the industry. They were replaced by traditional pot stills in 1981. Another important fact, its malt can also be found under the name Glencraig, in homage to Mr William Craig, a former production manager of Ballantine’s.

Valinch & Mallet is an independent Italian bottler founded in 2015 by two friends passionate about spirits, Davide Romano and Fabio Ermoli. Their goal is to share the best whiskies and rums with the world, focusing on quality over quantity.

Nose: Refined and captivating. Bouquet of candied fruits (apricot, orange) intertwined with notes of toasted nuts. Scents of acacia honey and old leather, with a subtle touch of sweet spices in the background.
