21-year-old Glen Garioch, distilled in 2003, from a first-fill bourbon cask and bottled at its natural strength of 55.1%. This whisky has been chosen to launch the new Decadent Drams series, as a demonstration of the quality and type of whisky this brand intends to offer on a regular basis over the coming months and years.

Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other spirits. Angus MacRaild - also author of the WhiskySponge blog - is the founder. Its philosophy is quality, fun and not taking life too seriously. This quirky side is reflected both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings, which feature the sponge character in a wide variety of ways.
These bottlings, mostly single casks, are divided into different brands such as the Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice, Equilibrium and NAS. The Spongeverse includes WhiskySponge, RumSponge, CognacSponge, ArmagnacSponge and WineSponge.
