DAFTMILL 2011 Summer Release

This single malt, distilled in the summer of 2011, comes from a careful blend of 27 first-fill bourbon casks from the Clermont Springs distillery in Kentucky, aged for over 12 years at the Daftmill Farm. It is produced from the Publican barley variety, harvested on 28 and 29 August 2009 and then malted at Alloa during the summer of 2010.

Operating as a fully-fledged farm distillery since 2005, Daftmill is owned and managed by the Cuthbert family. The distillery only operates during the farm's quieter seasons, mid-summer and winter, which means that production can sometimes be limited to 100 casks a year.
