Cognac 2010 - Limited Edition-Bons Bois, (single cask n°46. 42,7%. Release 10/2019)

The nose is fruity and elegant, offering harmony, power and roundness. Notes of dried yellow grape, candied mirabelle plum and, more lightly, candied pear are combined with hints of pear blossom and buttery baked apple, as well as fine hints of acacia, brioche and a discreet hint of minty liquorice. Fruity, racy and suave on the palate, this Cognac is delicious, with a fine mastery of power, elegance, precision, roundness, smoothness and energy. On the palate, this Cognac expresses notes of dried yellow grapes, buttery baked apples and, to a lesser extent, candied mirabelle plums, combined with hints of dried citrus fruit, dried flowers, crystallised mandarin orange and hints of apple blossom, minty liquorice, spices, a subtle hint of nutmeg and a hint of peatiness.
