Illustrated by Trinidadian painter Che Lovelace, the Caroni Paradise labels are inspired by the urban and natural landscapes of this Caribbean island. Sister Cask of Caroni Paradise #7 in the same Créations catalogue, this version, called Climbing Figure above Bathers, was aged for twenty-five years in the tropical climate of Trinidad and Tobago, then Guyana, before maturing in dame-jeanne in the Cognac region. The aromatic and taste palette of Caroni is soaring, revealing elegance as the key word. The hydrocarbon notes inherent in this rum have been relegated to the background, replaced by the woody, medicinal, honeyed, gourmand and herbaceous sequences that have shaped its complex personality.
