CARONI 1994 Guyana Heavy Trinidad Rum Paradise #7

In 2004, the discovery of hundreds of casks of Caroni in a warehouse in Trinidad by Luca Gargano, CEO of the Italian company Velier, brought this highly confidential rum to the attention of the world. Initially aged for fourteen years in Trinidad and Tobago and then transferred to Guyana at Demerara Distillers, this version, called Figure with Falling Water, has continued its maturation in dame-jeanne from 2019 in the Cognac region. The first nose reveals notes of hydrocarbons of rare intensity, and this version is a masterful embodiment of the Caroni style. Then, in a second phase, nobly woody and delicately smooth, it reveals this legendary rum in a particularly complex and harmonious light.
