BALLYHOO Irish Whiskey

Ballyhoo is a single grain whiskey made, matured and bottled by the young Connacht distillery, based in the North West of Ireland since 2015.

Aged for 4 years in bourbon (white oak) casks, Ballyhoo is then matured for 6-9 months in Port casks from the famous Douro Valley in Portugal. This whiskey is made from 93% corn and 7% malted barley, selected and imported directly from France.

Bottled at 43%, this single grain whiskey does not lack character and elegance. The triple distillation in column stills and the combination of bourbon and port casks bring complexity and richness to this whiskey which expresses vanilla, fruity and subtly spicy notes.
