Nose : Refined, distinguished. Candied ginger, raisins and soot notes immediately make for a very classy aroma palette. Allowed to breathe, the nose becomes more roasted (coffee) and vanilla. It then becomes brighter with aromas of hyacinth, citrus fruit zest and roasted mango.

Appearance : Cuivre orangé.

Palate : Ebullient, elegant. On the attack, a medicinal substrate (ointment, mustard) plays host to ground coffee, cinnamon, clove and citrus fruit (orange, mandarin). The mid-palate takes us into a woodworker’s workshop.

Overall : Long, silky. The start of the finish is characterized by notes of wax, leather and precious wood. The honeyed after-taste (lime blossom, heather) is rich (raisin cake, roasted apple, juicy melon).
