The Willett Family Estate 4 Year Old Small Batch bourbon is a straight rye bourbon from Kentucky that has aged in American oak barrels. Considered a jewel of American terroir, it is made from 90% High rye (74% rye, 11% corn, 15% malted barley), and 10% Low Rye (51% rye, 34% corn and 15% malted barley). It is bottled Cask Strength and without any filtration. It is of unusual depth and complexity for a bourbon. With its robust aromatic profile, it offers notes of dark cherry fruit and spice, including cinnamon and black pepper, complemented by hints of caramel and vanilla.The palate is rich and full, offering seductive warmth in every sip. The struture is made around an appealing balance of fruity and floral notes, accompanied by subtle undertones of oak and spice.
