For this limited edition, Maison Vallein Tercinier's cellar master has carefully selected cask n°0278, a Grande Champagne Cognac of exceptional rarity. Single Cask Lot 74 will delight the most demanding palates.
A rich and harmonious aromatic universe, between the flowery profile of Grande Champagne, and more persistent notes of blond tobacco, spices and candied fruit.
Nose : A true organoleptic goldmine, Single Cask Lot 74 soon reveals all its treasures. The nose is harmonious, with rich notes of smoke and roasting. After a few minutes, the finesse of Grande Champagne cognac is revealed in subtle notes of white flowers, iris and blond tobacco. Finally, spicy notes (fennel, Sishuan pepper) and fruity notes (candied orange, exotic fruit) complete this initial tasting experience.
Palate : The (last) nose announced more comfort, and this is now the case. Smooth and soft, the palate offers us the richness we need for this second tasting phase. Still very fresh, notes of English cake, candied apricots and almonds delicately coat the palate, and will delight many.
Overall : Complex and refined, this third and final tasting phase, punctuated by cocoa notes, shows rare length and depth. The finish subtly echoes certain port wines.
