A tribute to Oscar, one of the founding fathers and skilful Cellar Master of the House of Planat, Oscar pour le Bar is made from a blend of organic eaux-de-vie specially selected for their aromatic qualities and their ability to reveal cocktails.

First 100% Organic Cognac House

Distillation and maturation:
Double distillation in a Charentais still, lees preserved. Dynamic maturation, the eaux-de-vie are regularly worked on by our team to ensure perfect maturation. 350 litre French oak barrels, a combination of fine and coarse grain. Maturation mainly in wet cellars. No cold filtration.

Nose : Fruity and fleshy. Beautiful amplitude with an attack dominated by exotic fruits, pear, sultana grape, then evolves towards floral notes: white flowers, rose, cherry tree. Finally appear spicy and pastry notes: bourbon vanilla, toasted oak, brioche, slightly smoky finish.

Appearance : paille aux reflets ambrés.

Palate : Round and complex attack: fresh grapes, toasted oak, roasted pineapple and lychee. Continues with notes of candied fruit and the first spices: cinnamon, timut pepper. Long and precise finish.
