Nose : Refined, deep. The slightly oxidative first nose at times evokes a farmhouse cider. Very quickly, however, aromas of tar and burnt tyre appear. Allowed to breathe, fragrances of blossoming sugar cane and cane sugar fill the now camphoric and resinous (pine, Cypress) air.

Appearance : Vieil or soutenu.

Palate : Lively, dynamic. Also oxidative, the attack brings to mind an aged Jura Vin Jaune that has taken on curry notes. On the mid-palate, sugar canes pierce the veil of yeast on the Jura wine, allowing glimpses of molasses, tar and pipe tobacco.

Overall : Long, silky. Perfectly summarizing the nose and palate, the start of the finish adds a floral dimension (geranium, tuberose). In the after-taste, notes of hydrocarbon(turpentine, fuel oil), polished wood and varnish seep deep into the taste buds.
