An exquisite selection of top-quality Spanish oak sherry casks rests in the GlenDronach distillery's cellars, used for the slow maturation of these Highland Single Malt whiskies.
Dating back as far as 1968, the distillery boasts a rich selection of casks, hogsheads, puncheons and butts. Only the most exceptional are personally selected each year by Rachel Barrie, to celebrate and share the best of the distillery's character. Whether they've already housed a sweet, rich Pedro Ximénez, a dry, nutty Oloroso, or a fruit-laden Port from the Douro Valley, each cask presents unique and remarkable characteristics, while retaining The Glendronach DNA.
This whisky from an exceptional ex-Oloroso Puncheon cask was distilled on December 4, 1992 and bottled in 2023 at its natural strength.
