The unusual Eastern European oak introduces a distinct spicy touch, which leans towards the floral. After 2 1/2 years of maturation in small 50 liter casks, the whisky was reracked into 200 liter Bourbon casks for additional sweetness and oxidation.
First impressions in aroma and taste point towards dark caramel and floral honey, while in the long aftertaste you will discover more spicy elements from the fresh oak and not least a pleasant finish of peat smoke.
Limited edition of 360 bottles. Each bottle is numbered.
