This Speyburn, distilled in 2008, was aged for 15 years in bourbon barrels before being bottled at its natural strength of 60.20%. This Speyside single malt reveals a subtle, fruity profile, with aromas of honey, pear and cocoa powder.

Created in 1968 by the great whisky visionary, ‘Mr George’ Urquhart, the Connoisseurs Choice range now includes over 2,000 bottlings from around a hundred Scottish distilleries. The story of each Connoisseurs Choice whisky is told on the label, including cask type, bottling date, degree, vintage and tasting notes. Always non-chill filtered, these rare single casks and small batch expressions have been created using Gordon & MacPhail's unique expertise in marrying distillate and oak casks, passed down through four generations of the same family.
