SAKURAO 3 ans 2019 Whisky Magazine IB Collection Hua Yang

The Whisky Magazine IB Japanese Craft Whiskey Series is a collaboration between bottler Hua Yang and Whisky Magazine. Released in 2022, 3 bottlings are available, a Chichibu 7 year old, a Yuza 7 year old and a Sakuro 3 year old.
Founded in 2017 in Sakurao in Hiroshima prefecture, the distillery is a combination of tradition and innovation. The warehouses benefit from two very distinct climates, with warm sea spray on one side and cold mountain winds on the other. This gives the whisky a broad, complex aromatic palette. Made from bourbon casks, this bottling will be distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2023 at 62.30%.
