PUNI Arte 05

A back to basics for this Puni Arte 05, revisiting the Islay whisky finish of the very first edition of this limited Arte range, with a design that captures its fresh, smoky aromas! This fifth edition is made from 100% malted barley, aged for 6.4 years in Ardbeg casks!
Single malt seems to suit Puni very well, as it gains in body and structure even when aged as young as this, and in such powerful casks. Here, the palate is enveloped by pleasant layers of smoke, followed by the roundness of honey and lemony notes of bergamot. The flavours deepen with oak in the background and a hint of leather, creating a delicate and seductive aromatic profile.
