PIGGY BREWING Coal Drop Unitaire

Coal Drop is a perfectly executed Dry Stout, with a deep black colour topped by a beige-grey head. The choice of Brazilian Dois Irmaos coffee, added to the roasted and malted malts, adds sweet notes of chocolate, hazelnut and cherry to a traditionally roasted and toasted profile. The palate is dry and light in alcohol, with slightly bitter coffee and cocoa flavours. Enhanced by the freshness of the hops, the finish is herbaceous, spicy and slightly earthy. Light in alcohol but powerful in flavour, this new black beer in PIGGY's permanent range is a fine master stroke from our brewers in Lorraine.
