OLD FORESTER 1870 Original Batch

In 1870, George Garvin Brown created Old Forester in Louisville, Kentucky. Old Forester 1870 Original Batch pays tribute to the original blending process of its creator. At the time, Brown combined casks from three distilleries to create a balanced profile. Today, to mimic this process, casks are selected from three different wineries, with each cask coming from different days of production, alcohol content and age profiles. The three expressions of Old Forester are then blended and filtered to a minimum to make Old Forester 1870 Original Batch.
