La Sélection St-Sauvant is a blend of Merlet family cognacs that have reached their optimum maturity. Produced by Gilles and his sons, Pierre and Luc, the fifth generation of Merlet Distillers, each blend is unique and produced in limited series. It is the result of an expert and rigorous selection from a remarkable family heritage. A number is affixed to each new blend and guarantees the rarity of an exceptional Cognac.
Bottled in 2016, Assemblage N°2 is composed of: Very Old Cognacs blended (12%), Petite Champagne 10 years old (30.4%), Grande Champagne 10 years old (10.2%), Fins Bois 2001 (10.7%), Petite Champagne 1993 (10.2%), Fins Bois 1992 (10.1%), Borderies 1984 (4%), Petite Champagne 1971 and 1973 blended (8%) and Fins Bois 1948 (4.3%). The Assemblage N°2 is unique and produced in limited series.
