MATUSALEM Insolito Wine Cask

Our Master Blender, Cynthia Vargas, has selected the finest rums, which are filtered until they become transparent and then aged for 3 years in a cask containing Tempranillo, the Spanish grape variety, king of Rioja. It is important to note that these casks are only reused once to provide the distinctive aroma and colour. This liquid is then blended with our iconic Matusalem Gran Reserva 15. This natural colour comes from the Tempranillo cask ageing.
Insolito Wine Cask is an edition released in batches of 8,000 bottles with each bottle bearing a unique number. On the back of the bottle, a silk-screen print illustrates the fusion of the wine's vines and the sugar cane's herbs, capturing the essence of the union between grape and sugar cane.
