MACALLAN (The) A Night on Earth in Jerez

A Night on Earth in Jerez is inspired by New Year's Eve as celebrated in Jerez de la Frontera, the birthplace of sherry. Here, this celebration, full of meaning and tradition, has another name: Nochevieja (‘Old Night’). This limited edition, aged in exceptional old oak casks, evokes the nostalgic flavours of home... making it the perfect gift for a loved one. Jerez-born artist María Melero created the illustrations for the bottle and case of this edition of A Night on Earth in Jerez. María was inspired by her fondest memories of the New Year celebrations in her home town. The story begins with a crimson sky over the sherry vineyards, continues in her home represented by the azulejos (traditional Jerez tiles), and ends with golden bunches symbolising the sherry that will sign The Macallan casks. ‘Jerez plays a crucial role in The Macallan's past, present and future.
