Nose : smooth, mellow. Notes of precious woods (cedar, oak) envelop roasted coffee, candied apricots and peppermint. It evolves on spices, maple syrup and pumpkin. It clearly evokes the dust-saturated atmosphere of a carpenter's workshop.

Palate : Round, honeyed. Very different from the nose, its attack is marked by citrus fruit and dark chocolate. Also reminiscent of marc de bourgogne or coffee liqueur, it evolves on heady flowers (peony, rose) and dried fruit (prune, apricot). A fruity acidity holds it together from start to finish.

Overall : long, it takes its time to reveal all its fruit (apricot, peach, mirabelle plum). Candied, it is also vegetal (cut hay) and spicy (ginger). Cocoa powder gives it a very fine grain. The empty glass brings out notes of mimosa and flowering sulfur.
