Following on from L'Expression Brut de fût, this 60.2% Batch 2 is more intense and livelier, but just as harmonious.
Aged first in new French oak casks, then in ex-Cognac casks to give it roundness and harmony, L'Expression Brut de fût is bottled at natural alcohol content and without cold filtration to preserve its colour, taste and aromas. The heady nose is marked by candied orange, fresh cane and lime-blossom honey. Beautifully woody, the palate then unfolds the full aromatic range of this warm rum, rich in nuances: notes of ripe banana and coconut, enhanced by a hint of timut pepper and cocoa. With its great freshness and exotic dessert flavours, this new limited edition takes us to the bountiful lands of Guadeloupe. Limited edition of 4000 bottles.
