Johnnie Walker Blue Label is made up of a few very rare whiskies that are specifically reserved for it. Certain Speyside malts give it suppleness and lightness. Others, more full-bodied and balanced, give it its power. The hint of peat comes naturally from the Isles of Islay and Skye. Its unique smoothness comes from aged malts whose distilleries have now disappeared, such as Port Ellen, Glen Albyn and Glen Mohr.
