ISAUTIER Apollonie Rhum Agricole Extra Vieux

Apollonie is an intense, gourmet rum that sublimates the savoir-faire of Maison Isautier.
It's a blend of 10- and 15-year-old agricultural rums, aged in fine-grained ex-Cognac French oak barrels, specially selected to gently extract the tannins from the oak, which slowly melt into the rum.
The nose is initially gourmand and very round, with notes of pastry, butter and sugar. This is followed by notes of exotic fruit and wood. The palate is powerful and voluminous, sweet and fruity with accents of exotic fruit and freshly cut cane. The finish is very long, with flavors of cane juice and exotic wood.
This cuvée pays tribute to Apollonie Isautier, wife of Louis Isautier, one of the founders of the Isautier rum distillery in 1845.
A limited edition of 1,531 bottles in France.
