HEIGHT OF ARROWS Heavy Gin

Following the launch of its first Height of Arrows gin in 2021, Edinburgh's Holyrood Distillery has created two new gins that continue its "less is more" philosophy. Indeed, all the expressions in the Height of Arrows range are stripped down to the essentials and contain only juniper, beeswax and salt which gives them a lot of texture and a beautiful full-bodied flavor.
It is common knowledge that roasting spices helps to add more complex flavors in cooking. That's exactly what Holyrood's phrase Heavy highlights. Thus, Heavy is distilled from roasted juniper which extracts more flavor and creates a more robust expression of Height of Arrows. Heavy has been sweetened with a little sugar after distillation to achieve a powerful yet beautifully balanced Old Tom style gin.
