HEIGHT OF ARROWS Heavy Gin Mignonnettes

Following the launch of its first Height of Arrows gin in 2021, Edinburgh's Holyrood distillery has created two new gins that continue its 'less is more' philosophy. All Height of Arrows expressions are stripped to the bare essentials and contain only juniper, beeswax and salt, giving them plenty of texture and a nice full-bodied flavour.
It is well known that roasting spices adds more complex flavours to cooking. This is exactly what Holyrood's Heavy expression highlights. As such, Heavy is distilled from roasted juniper, which extracts more flavour and creates a more robust expression of Height of Arrows. Heavy has been sweetened with a little sugar after distillation to create a powerful but beautifully balanced Old Tom style gin.
