GLENROTHES 42 ans

The Glenrothes has launched The 42, a limited edition single malt whisky inspired by the colour and character of the distillery's Highland home. This expression is a blend of casks selected by the distillery's Master Whisky Maker that have been aged for over four decades. Only 1,134 bottles will be available worldwide.
The Master Whisky Maker, Laura Rampling, selected just four casks that she felt had achieved perfect ageing, producing a liquid that reflects the changing colours of the Rothesian landscape.
With distinctive aromas of sun-ripened apricots, sugared almonds, orange peel and coriander seed, The 42 offers creamy vanilla, honeycomb and fragrant orange oil on the palate, with a lingering aromatic finish.
