Glenmorangie master distiller Dr. Bill Lumdsen was inspired by the soft, sweet scents of French pastries to create Le Nectar d'Or, now aged for 16 years in bourbon casks, which give this single malt a creamy depth, then matured in a more complex combination of sweet white wine casks (Sauternes, Monbazillac, Moscatel and Tokaji).
