Since 1826 and over the decades, The GlenDronach has become a benchmark Highland whisky, sought after the world over by lovers of robust, complex whiskies. The distillery favours long ageing in ex sherry casks from Andalusia: ex Pedro Ximenez casks for ripe fruit notes, richness and depth, and ex Oloroso casks for structure and dried fruit notes. Each expression of Glendronach has natural colour, texture, length and complexity: nothing less! The pinnacle of the Glendronach style, this venerable version takes its name from the colony (or 'parliament') of ravens that has nested in the vicinity of the distillery for almost 200 years. Marked by notes of precious wood, this single malt also has a remarkably fruity character.
