GLENWYVIS 2018 Quarter Casks Collective #1 Berry Bros. & Rudd

In 2015, GlenWyvis became the first Scottish distillery to be founded as a social enterprise, operating for the benefit of the community. Situated on a picturesque ridge at the foot of Ben Wyvis, the distillery uses hydro, solar and biomass energy for its production.

Vibrant aromas of fresh fruit waft from the glass: honeyed melon, warm heather and green apples. A zest of citrus opens the palate, bringing spiced pears, sweet vanilla and crisper apples. Pine and cinnamon mingle on the finish. This is a wonderfully invigorating Highland malt, perfect for sipping in a cool breeze at the top of Ben Wyvis.

The Collective's first series, The Pioneers, focuses on the pioneers of sustainable and eco-responsible distilling. A selection of ten bottlings, ranging from Irish single pot stills to Tasmanian single rye, The Pioneers series is a real tribute to distillers who care about the future of the planet.
