Nose : Another new label for the return of the Fary Lochan distillery from Denmark. It is a small family distillery, run today by three siblings and their mother. The name of the distillery comes from the lake on the grounds and from an old spelling of the town, Farre, where it is situated. The distillery produces a single malt.<br>That Boutique-Y Whisky Company is recognisable by its cartoon-style labels, full of details and allusions. While the design may seem whimsical, the selection is meticulous and often very surprising.
Palate : A soft and fruity nose, with lots of dark chocolate and hazelnut, Dried fruits#P,& raisins and dates, with hints of roasted coffee.
Overall : Rich and luxurious with rich dark chocolate, Black Forest gateau, black cherry, and an underlying woody char.
