EMINENTE 10 ans Gran Reserva

Created by César Marti, the youngest Maestro Ronero (Master Rum Maker), Eminente Gran Reserva Edition N°1 is a 10-year-old Cuban rum made from a blend of light rum and aguardiente, finished for 3 months in French oak casks. This first edition is 80% aguardiente (the highest proportion of any Cuban rum). These eaux-de-vie have been aged under specific conditions: in a dry cellar, where the water evaporates more quickly than the alcohol. This type of ageing explains the final alcohol content of 43.5% for Eminente Gran Reserva Edition N°1, which is higher than the average for Cuban rums. The rest of the blend is made up of light Cuban rum, which, thanks to its alcohol content, gives it its vitality. Eminente is one of the few Cuban rums to hold the coveted 'Denominación de Origen Protegida' or 'D.O.P. Ron de Cuba' designation. It imposes strict rules to ensure the authenticity and high standards of the product.
