Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin is the brainchild of brand founder PJ Rigney. Its name evokes the elusive Drumshanbo Jackalope, an imaginary animal of American folklore, part hare and part antelope. One of PJ Rigney's many journeys took him along the equator, across the Atlantic and into the heart of South America, in Brazil. It was when he came across a small family farm in Novo Remanso that PJ Rigney was introduced to the Brazilian "Abacaxi" pineapple, with which he developed the recipe for Gin Brazilian Pineapple. Deliciously exotic, this gin offers notes of fresh citrus, Brazilian pineapple, oriental herbs and gunpowder tea. Fresh and exotic.
